SOFTENERS

* Wrap head and resin
tank with a blanket.
* Cover blanket with water resistant tarp.
* If home, allow inside faucet to trickle during freeze hours.

DRINKING WATER FILTERS

* Turn off water to Filter.
* Remove filter cartridges from the Canisters.
* Re-install after freeze danger has passed. |

SPRINKLER SYSTEMS
|
* Cover any exposed
above ground water pipes.
* Cover backflow valves with blanket.
* Cover irrigation pipes with insulated
blanket. |

INTERIOR
PIPES
|
*If away, leave heat on at low setting.
* If at home, allow faucet to trickle
during freeze hours.
* Open garden hose bibb to a trickle.

MAIN
SHUT OFF VALVES
|
* Wrap valve with blanket or large
towel.
* Wrap pipes to the valve with pipe
insulation or blankets.
* Pay special attention to areas where brass and PVC are connected.
